So you are thinking about going into leadership on this board eh? Below is a list of all the open positions with a short description of their jobs and commitments. Please peruse through them and find one that suits you the most. The applications for each position can also be found in this thread.
Open Positions
Assistant Administrator this is a team player who assists the Administrator in pretty much everything. They help to monitor posts, approve new members, set up polls, answer pm's, and any other secretarial work that the Administrator needs help with. This has a high commitment level: you must be able to log on around 6+ hours a week. There is one (1) open position.
Prayer Team this team consists of 3-5 members which make it their personal goal to leave no prayer request unprayed for. This team moderates the prayer request board and the praise section in the newsletter. This has a lower commitment level: other than being active and logging on at least 2+ hours a week you only need to have a passion to help people. There is five (5) open position.
Outreach Team this team works to help our members as well as to reach out to other boards and such to bring new guests to the board. We always want to be growing and this team helps this happen. This has a medium commitment level: you must be able to log 3+ hours on the site. The reason for this being that you need to be active as well as take care of any pm's or messages that you get. There are three (3) open positions.
D-Group Leaders this is a great starter position for anyone that wants to dabble in leadership. You are in charge of your D-Group. As long as you follow the guidelines this is your group to run however you want. This helps you to figure out your leadership style and can be a lot of fun in the process! The level of commitment is medium: you must be able to log on 3+ hours a week in order to stay active as well as host a meeting of your group once a week or bi-monthly. There are two (2) open positions.
Deacons a great starter position this team member takes care of new guests. Each deacon is responsible for 10 members maximum and they make sure that the member has everything they need. They also post advertisement on sites as well as foster relationships between new members. The level of commitment can be sporadic as they need to be able to help new guests and members so there should ideally be at least one deacon on between the hours of 10:00am-7:00pm. There are two (2) open positions.
